Sinopsis The Edge of Love movie
Pada era Perang Dunia II, Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley) bertemu dengan pria yang dulu jadi cinta pertamanya, seorang penyair dari Wales bernama Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys), dan cinta lama pun bersemi kembali meskipun kini Dylan sudah menikah dengan Caitlin MacNamara (Sienna Miller), seorang perempuan yang ceria.
Meskipun saling bersaing, kedua perempuan tersebut lantas bersahabat karib, dan ketiganya seringkali bersenang-senang bersama. Ketika Vera menikahi seorang tentara bernama William Killick (Cillian Murphy), Dylan cemburu dan Caitlin menyadarinya. Tetapi William segera dikirim bertugas ke luar negeri, sementara Vera dan yang lain pindah ke pedesaan di Wales, di mana cinta Vera pada Dylan malah tumbuh semakin besar.
Ketika William akhirnya pulang dari medan perang, kecemburuannya membuat ia menyerang Dylan--dan membuat Vera harus memilih antara kedua pria itu, antara cinta dan persahabatan.

Synopsis The Edge of Love movie
During WW II, Vera Phillips (Keira Knightley) runs into her first love, charismatic Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys), and their feelings for each other are renewed, despite that Dylan is now married to the spirited Caitlin MacNamara (Sienna Miller).
Despite their rivalry, the two women become friends and the trio have happy times together. When Vera marries soldier William Killick (Cillian Murphy), Dylan becomes jealous of William, and Caitlin notices. But William is soon deployed abroad, and the remaining trio moves to the Welsh countryside, where Vera's feelings for Dylan intensify.
When William comes home from the war, he stages a violent attack on Dylan - an attack that forces Vera to choose between the men in her life and the friend that she loves.
